Patricia L Shephard

On Sunday, June 25, 2023, heaven gained a special angel when his faithful servant, Patricia “Pat” Shephard, took her last breath at the young age of 74. Those who preceded in death met her with open arms: her parents: Edward F. Lewis Sr., and Bertha Hatfield Lewis; her son, Matthew Edward Shephard; and her brother, Edward F. Lewis, Jr. While here on earth she will look over the family she has left behind: her daughter, Melissa Shephard Bergeron (Michael), son Michael Gerard Shephard (Nina); sister-in-law, Margaret D Lewis; and her grandchildren: Sarah Bergeron, Aiden Bergeron, Victoria “Tori” Shephard and Christopher Shephard.

Her career as a legal secretary for Sidney D. Torres III, Greg J. Noto and Jim S. Hall spanned several decades where she displayed exception professionalism and dedication to her work. She loved being a part of the Compassionate Friends of St Bernard and surrounding herself with family and friends. She always enjoyed having a house full of people and will be deeply missed by us all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, July 3, 2023, from 11:00 AM- 1:00 PM. A Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 PM with a gathering to follow in the Magnolia Room at the funeral home.
