Miguel Angel Ortiz

Miguel Angel Ortiz was born on November 25, 1960 in Masatepe, Masaya, Nicaragua. He was baptized as a Jehovah's Witness in 1982. In 1984 he married Violeta Gomez-Ortiz, who survives him. He is also survived by his children Omar Ortiz and Rebecca Ortiz, along with his Grandchildren Isabella Ortiz, Fabian Ortiz, Levi Ortiz and Leila Garrido.

Miguel immigrated to the United States in 1985. He faithfully served Jehovah as a devoted Christian, until the last day of his life. Miguel was a dedicated husband, excellent father, beloved brother, and friend. One of his favorite scriptures was: “Oh, Jehovah, help me to know what end I will have and what will be the number of my days, so that I know how short my life is, make my days count for you.” (Psalm 38:4,5,7). Note to fellow believers: “I have fought the noble fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith (2 Tim 4:7).“Keep running and don't give up. See you soon".
