Michael “Mike” Brubaker, 67, passed away on July 28, 2024. He leaves behind a legacy of love and dedication. He is survived by his children, Jennifer Favalora, Desiree Jolet (Ross), Stephen Brubaker and Michael Brubaker; his grandchildren, Violet Brubaker and Evan Favalora; his siblings, Judith Leroux (Ray), Cynthia Kraus (Jay), John Brubaker Jr., and David Brubaker (Vicki); many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Imelda Brubaker; his siblings, Stephen Brubaker and Patrick Brubaker.
Michael was a graduated from Chalmette High School and spent many years serving the St. Bernard Water Board before retiring last year. Mike was an avid bowler and golfer, finding joy in these activities throughout his life. However, his greatest happiness came from the time spent with his family. His warmth, wisdom, and commitment to those he loved will be dearly missed.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, August 16, 2024 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a memorial service in Mike’s memory beginning at 1:00PM.
