Mary Margaret Bonck

Mary Margaret Bonck passed away on Saturday, June 8, 2019. She was 87 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband Lawrence “Larry” Bonck, Sr; her parents, Margaret Mary Cleaver Urban and Joseph Urban and by her brothers, Donald and Joseph Urban. Mother of Lawrence Bonck, Jr. (Mary), Debbie McCaskell (David), Scott Bonck, Christopher Bonck and Anthony Bonck (Connie). Grandmother of Melissa Manzur (Eli), Ashley Wilson (Dwight), Douglas McCaskell (Valerie), Lawrence Bonck, III, Denise McCaskell, Chelsea Bonck, and Nicholaus Bonck. Great grandmother of Katie Bonck, Cannon Wilson, Celia Wilson, Oliver McCaskell, Elliott McCaskell, Emma Manzur and Carsten DeFranza.

She was a lifelong resident of St Bernard Parish, and moved to Metairie after Katrina. She was a member of the Mile Miley Playground Golden Ages Club, and the St. Jude Society.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue Street, in Chalmette, LA, on Saturday, June 22, 2019, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Praying of the rosary will begin at 1:15 PM, followed by a memorial service to be held in her honor at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the St. Jude Society.
