Mabel Buffone Mangano

Mabel Buffone Mangano, of St. Bernard, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, April 26, 2021. She was 78 years old. She leaves behind her son, Salvador A. Mangano Jr. and his wife TJ; her daughter, Tammy Mangano White and her husband John; her grandchildren, Salvador A. Mangano III (Tabitha), Tanner Mangano (Danielle), John White III, Matthew White, and Michael White; her great-grandchildren, Logan Mangano, Preston White, John White IV, Salvador A. Mangano IV, and Maylin Guidry Mangano; and her brothers, Anthony Buffone and Samuel Buffone. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, the late Salvador A. Mangano, Sr.; her parents, the late Cecilia and Octave Buffone Sr., and her siblings, the late Octave Buffone Jr. and James Buffone.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE STREET, in Chalmette, on Friday, April 30, 2021, from 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM. A funeral service will begin in her memory at 11:00 AM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery. Please be mindful that facial coverings are required, and physical distancing encouraged, at all times inside the funeral home.
