With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to Linda Couget Naquin who passed away at the age of 76. She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Linda was the loving wife to the late Robert R. Naquin Sr. She was the caring mother to Robert R. Naquin (Donna). Proud grandmother of Robert “Blake” Naquin (Jodi), Tyler B. Naquin (Lindsey); great-grandmother of Blaize M. Naquin, Blakley A. Naquin, Robert “Elliot” Naquin and Everett R. Naquin; sister of Velma M. Couget, Jean M. Couget III, and Paul M. Couget; aunt too many nieces and nephews. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Jean M. Couget Jr., and Joyce M. Lawrence.
A passionate traveler, Linda roamed the globe, collecting adventures and stories along the way. When not exploring the world, she found solace in the gentle rhythm of knitting needles, crafting intricate designs with care and creativity. Her handiwork, a testament to her patience and skill, brought warmth and comfort to those fortunate enough to receive her creations. An avid enthusiast of classic cars, Linda reveled in the nostalgia of vintage automobiles, attending shows and rallies with unwavering enthusiasm. Yet, amidst her myriad passions, her greatest joy was found in the company of her beloved family. She showered her grandchildren and great-grandchildren with boundless affection, delighting in their laughter and milestones. Her love knew no bounds. May she rest in eternal peace.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, March 25, 2024 from 11:00 AM-1:00PM. A funeral will begin at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow in ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL GARDENS.
