Leonard A. Rodi

Leonard Anthony Rodi of Gonzales, LA peacefully passed away on Monday, March 31, 2025, at the age of 84. Leonard was born in New Orleans on February 2, 1941. He was the devoted husband of Rosalind Thevenot Rodi for 61 years. Leonard was preceded in death by his parent’s Mae and Lloyd Robertson. Leonard was also preceded in death by his brother, Howard Robertson (Gay) and is survived by his sister, Mary Ann R. Anderson, his son, Dominick Rodi (Shannon), and his grandsons, Cade and Cole. Leonard was an employee of Martin Marietta/Lockheed Martin New Orleans for 42 years. He was also a proud Navy veteran. He had a love for horses that led him to show quarter horses and later train racehorses at Jefferson Downs and the Fair Grounds. Leonard’s hobbies included playing golf and attending his grandsons sporting events.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held on Thursday, April 3, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA 70043. A Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by military honors. Interment will be private.
