Kirk David Janneck

Survivors include his beloved wife of 41 years, Tessie, their child Jessica (Ben Davis), and his grandchildren: Zoe and Logan. Kirk is survived by his loving parents Earl and Betty, siblings Kim, Kit (Jim McMahan), Kevin (Peggy), and Kelly, and several loved in-laws, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Throughout his life, Kirk was an avid fisherman who loved being outdoors. He also enjoyed cooking and figuring out the secret to delicious recipes. He was a craftsman who was always repairing or building something. He could fix anything from a broken heart to a broken ice cream cone. He took pride in his work and frequently reminisced about his childhood job delivering newspapers or his career as an electrician (Mike Ginart Electric, F&S Electric, and Chalmette Electric). He is remembered by friends and family as someone who would help out in any way that he could. His life was full of love, and he will be missed by many.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 9:30AM – 11:00AM. A Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00AM. Inurnment will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
