Kelly Joseph Teel Sr.

Kelly Joseph Teel Sr. entered into eternal rest at his home in Chalmette, LA on Monday, July 28, 2014 at the age of 63. Kelly was a native of New Orleans who later moved to St. Bernard Parish and resided there for the past 35 years, where he was a retired demolition processor of scrap metal engineer.

Kelly was the son of the late Albert and Eva Teel; brother to the late Felix, Theresa, Eddie and Debbie. He is survived by one sister, Glendora. Kelly was the father of Shannon (David) and Kelly Jr., grandfather to Curtis, Robert, Frankie, Mackenzie and Mason, and his furry family member named Baby. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

The Teel family would like to thank Willy Carawan for all his help. Kelly loved him like a son.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Gathering to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, August 2nd from 12:00PM – 1:00PM, followed by Eulogies in Kelly’s memory beginning at 1:00PM ~ 1:30PM. Following the service, a celebration of life party will take place at the Crustation Room at Lehrman’s Bar, 135 W. St. Bernard Hwy., Chalmette, LA 70043.
