Joseph William Dalton Sr.

Joseph William Dalton, Sr., age 90, passed away on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. He was a lifelong resident of Chalmette, LA. Mr. Dalton was the cherished husband of Marilyn Martinez Dalton for 66 years; father of Nadine Dalton Stogner (John L. Sr.), the late Joseph “Jody” Dalton, Jr. (the late Deborah) and the late Rodney “Rod” Dalton, Sr. (Paula N. Dalton); grandfather of Rodney Dalton Jr., Ashley Dalton, Lindsay Dalton, John Stogner, Jr., and Jack Stogner; great-grandfather of Ean Dalton and Rowen Franatovich; son of the late Eugene and Myrtle Dalton, Sr; brother of John “J.C.” Dalton and the late Eugene “Gene” Dalton and August “Augie” Dalton. Mr. Dalton is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will begin at 1:00 pm in the Chapel. Mr. Dalton will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
