Joan R. Hauck

Joan Gabler Hauck passed away peacefully to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 12, 2022 at the age of 88. She was the beloved wife to the late Edward Hauck Sr. Loving mother to Deborah Phillips (Glenn), Randy Hauck Sr. (Kelly) and Lisa H. Harvey (Todd Sr.). Proud grandmother to Wendy Holmes (Freddie), Glenn Phillips Jr. (Jennifer), Randy Hauck Jr., Devin Harvey (Haley), Amie Harvey, Todd Harvey Jr. (Stephanie) and Heather Roussel (Dustin); great grandmother to Phillip Sutton (Taylor), Brayden Holmes, Leo Phillips, Benjamin Phillips, Michael Phillips, Lailah Hauck, Lacie Hauck, Ian Harvey, Lottie Mae Harvey, Grady Harvey, Vivian Roussel and two unborn twins, Edward and Phillip; great-great grandmother to Carmella Sutton. Caring friend to Ricky and Cheryl Galland. She is preceded in death by her parents, William Gabler and Elizabeth Gabler- Burger (Jacob); her siblings, William Gabler Jr. and Patricia Skags.

Joan was a resident of St. Bernard Parish for 60 years. She was a homemaker that enjoyed cooking her famous Gumbo. Joan enjoyed going to Olive Garden and Texas Roadhouse with her family and friends. She will always be remembered for her love for her family. She will be deeply missed by us all.

Private funeral service will be held at St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home and a burial will follow in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
