Jean Marion Turner Lusco learned the great mystery at home, on a bright, crisp, January 5, 2025. She was 77 years old. Full of compassion, integrity, and unconditional love, she enjoyed being in nature, gardening, reading, bike rides, and spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter, Mariel Lusco, her mother Marion Lamarque, her sisters Marlene Graffeo and Joan Bowden, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and her beloved dog, Violet. In Heaven, she joins her devoted husband, the late Daniel Lusco, and her sisters, the late Beverly Nunez and the late Lana Wilson.
A visitation will be held for Jean on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. VIRTUE STREET, in Chalmette, from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. A funeral mass will be held in her memory at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to eternal rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
