Jason Heintz Sr.

Jason Vincent Heintz Sr., passed away on January 10, 2023 at the age of 64. He was the loving husband to Sarah Brunner Heintz. Proud father to Kerin Elizabeth Heintz, Jason Vincent Heintz Jr. (Julia) and Jordan Michael Heintz. Caring grandfather to Hailie, Lillie, Emma, Jason “Lil man” III, Eli and Ethan; great grandfather to Kinslee and Baby Ard; brother to Judy Burkhardt (Charley), Jackie Cullia (Patrick), Jenifer Heintz, Joycelyn Heintz (Lewis), James Heintz Jr. (Terri) and Justin Heintz (Tammy); brother-in-law to John H. Brunner and the late Steven H. Brunner (Lynn); uncle to many nieces and nephews; lifelong friend to Donna and Henry Loescher. Jason is preceded in death by his parents, James Henry Heintz Sr., and Rita Voss Heintz; his sister Joy Pell (Billy) and his father and mother in-laws, Henry and Rosemary Brunner.

Jason was born on November 4, 1958 in New Orleans, LA and was a lifelong resident of Chalmette, LA. He graduated in 76 from St. Bernard High School. He worked for Port Cargo in New Orleans, LA. He loved bowling, fishing, going to the casino and watching his beloved Saints. Jason enjoyed dancing and spending time with family and friends. His greatest joy was spending time with his beautiful wife, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be missed by us all.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Tuesday, January17, 2023from 9:00 AM- 11:00 AM. A funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM. Burial will follow in ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL GARDENS.
