Gloria Marie Caire Groh

Gloria Marie Caire Groh passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Louis Groh for 65 years. Loving mother of Susan Groh Folse (Bobby) and Karen Groh Booth (Barry). Proud grandmother of Dana Folse Hutchison (Jonathan Harrell) and Mandy Booth Saladino (Anthony). Great grandmother of 2nd Lieutenant Matthew Hutchison, USAF and Matteo Joseph Saladino. Daughter of the late Louise Mercier and Leo Achilles Caire. Survived by sister Florence Mims (the late Johnny). Predeceased by brothers Leo Caire (the late Hilda), Ronald Caire (Diane), Bobby Caire (Gozel) and sisters Louise Caire, Estelle Caire and Doris Nolan (the late Richard). Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Gloria was a native of New Orleans and longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. She moved to Goshen, AL after Hurricane Katrina and relocated to St. Tammany Parish in August 2020.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens. The family would like to invite all guests to join them for a reception in the Magnolia Room at the funeral home after the burial.
