George Anthony Duvic

George Anthony Duvic passed away on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at the age of 88. He was the beloved husband of Esther Melancon Duvic for 60 years. Loving father of Kerry Williams (John), Tammy Duvic and the late Kim Duvic. Son of the late George Duvic and Cecelia Meyer Duvic. Brother of Patricia “Patsy” Terluin (the late Jan “Johnny”). Proud grandfather of Mindy Scheeler (Alfred), Fallon Williams, Ashley Williams, Tia Justice (Jeremy) and Matthew Williams (April). Great grandfather of Noah Scheeler and Peyton Scheeler. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

George was born in New Orleans, LA on October 26, 1929 and has been a resident of St. Bernard Parish since 1963. He enjoyed woodworking and was quite a craftsman. George was an avid New Orleans Saints and LSU fan. He loved to fish and treasured the days he spent at his camp with his family and friends. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a graveside service to be held at ST. BERNARD GARDENS, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, March 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM.
