Fay Hellmers Wilson, born on November 21, 1947 in New Orleans and passed away peacefully while surrounded by her family on September 1, 2016. She was the beloved daughter of Robert E. and Fay (Thurman) Hellmers. Fay married Warren Conrad Wilson on June 24, 1972 and he preceded her in death on June 19, 2012. Loving mother of Warren Conrad Wilson Jr. who preceded her in death on March 19, 2005. Fay was a Red Cross Water Safety Instructor and was employed for over 30 years at the United States Department of Agriculture located at National Finance Center until she retired in January 2012. Fay was a member of Christ Lutheran Church. She is survived and fondly remembered by her siblings, Roberta Cartaginese, Robert (Charlotte) Hellmers, Jr, and Kay (Ray) Brandhurst; grandchildren, Lauren B. Wilson and Laneigh W. Carmouche, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. She was well loved, a lotta fun, totally Bosch and affectionately known for her good nature and generous heart. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Friday, September 9th from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a celebration of her life beginning at 1:00PM. She will be laid to rest in St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
