Mr. Emile "Bubby" Emmett Prattini Jr.

Emile “Bubby” Emmett Prattini Jr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at the age of 74. He was beloved husband of 43 years to Sally Higginbotham Prattini, who passed away in 2019. Loving father of Christina Prattini (Michael), Gina Prattini (Eddie) and Emile “Rocky” Prattini (Hannah). Proud grandfather of Leah Reeb, Tristan Reeb, Annabelle Henson, Camilla Henson, Hudson Prattini and his beloved grand-dog Annie. Brother of Florence Prattini (Norbert), Chris Prattini (Jeannine) and Mickey Prattini (Nancy). Brother-in-law of Sharon Lewis and Steve Higginbotham (Teresa). Son of the late Emile Emmett Prattini Sr. and Florence Macheca Prattini. Emile is also survived and fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends.

Born in New Orleans, LA, Emile was a longtime resident of St. Bernard Parish. Before his retirement, Emile enjoyed a long and fulfilling career as a heavy equipment operator, known for his hardworking nature and dedication to his profession. In his leisure time, he cherished the simple pleasures of life - spending his hours hunting, fishing, and enjoying the tranquility of the great outdoors. Above all, Emile was immensely proud of his children and grandchildren, and he treasured the time spent with his siblings, nieces, and nephews. His good nature, generous heart, and laughter made everyone feel welcomed around him. Emile will be deeply missed by his family and friends, but his memory will live on through the love and joy he shared with others. Rest in peace, dear Bubby. We will deeply miss your love, kindness and the wonderful memories you created with us.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Saturday, November 23rd from 11:00AM – 1:00PM, followed by a celebration of Emile’s life beginning at 1:00PM. He will be laid to eternal rest in ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL GARDENS.
