Doyle J. Dardar Sr. passed away on Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at the age of 80. He was the cherished husband of Loretta M. Dardar for 60 years. Loving father of Pamela Dardar Bowden (Eddie), Doyle “Skeeter” J. Dardar, Jr. (Doris), Kimberly Dardar Ajan (Kenneth), Harold Richard Dardar (Penny), Marilyn Dardar Anglada (Jeff) and the late Valerie Dardar Roberts (Dwayne Sr.) Son of the late Fortunate and Clarise Buras Dardar. Brother of the late Alvin Dardar and Marie Heffler. Proud grandfather of 16 grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren.
Doyle was a fun loving and friendly man that was always generous and helpful. He enjoyed camping, cowboy movies and loved a great party. Doyle will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at ST. BERNARD MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA on Monday, October 27, 2014 from 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM. A funeral service will begin at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow in St. Bernard Catholic Cemetery, St. Bernard, LA.
