Diane Louise Sanders Landry, 82, of Metairie, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2023. Diane was the cherished wife of Rene F. Landry for 55 years. She was a life-long resident of New Orleans. Before retiring from U.S. Minerals Management Services, Diane was a homemaker and devoted mother. She graduated from the Academy of the Holy Angels in 1958. Diane enjoyed celebrating life with her many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Rene and her parents William "Bill" and Mildred Sanders. Diane is survived by her children Mark Landry and Michelle Barre, daughter-in-law Edie Landry and seven grandchildren, Brooke, Blake, and Blane Barre, Jourdan and Payten Landry, and Adam and Andrew Labarriere.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation to be held at St. Benilde Catholic Church, 1901 Division St., Metairie, LA from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM on Friday, April 21, 2023. A Memorial Mass will begin at 11:00 AM. Inurnment in Greenwood Cemetery, New Orleans, LA. A reception to celebrate Diane’s life will follow at the Elks Lodge No. 30, 2215 Cleary Ave., Metairie, LA.
