Chad Christopher Ducote Jr.

Chad Christopher Ducote Jr. passed away on Monday October 16, 2023. Chad was an extraordinary young man who made an impact on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him. He had an infectious zest for life and made the most of every moment he had. He was a passionate person who loved his car and also enjoyed a plethora of activities such as weight lifting, bowling, and dancing, but most of all was time spent with family. Some of his favorite family activities were playing games such as bingo, corn hole and family trivia games. He was born on March 9, 2000 and was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish where he graduated from Chalmette High School in 2019 and he also lettered in both football and bowling.

He is survived by his parents April Fleetwood and Edward Fleetwood Jr., his three brothers, Eddie, London and Henning Meyers, his niece Selena, his grandparents Marie C. Meyers and Roy L Meyers, Jr., aunts and uncles Heidi Reavis and Jeremy Reavis, Jamie M. Zepeda and John R. Zepeda III, and Kristy Meyers, cousins Trisha Poteet, Tiffani Poteet, Emily Zepeda and Lacie Meyers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation to be held at OUR LADY OF PROMPT SUCCOR CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2320 Paris Rd., Chalmette, LA on Saturday October 28, 2023 from 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM, followed by Funeral Mass at 1:00 PM. Interment will be private.
