Calogero “Carlo” Joseph Carbello passed away on Monday, February 8, 2016 at the age of 43. He was the cherished son of Josephine Gioe Carbello O’Brien and the late Vincent Joseph Carbello Jr. Stepson of the late Michael Thomas O’Brien. Loving father of Justin Ring. Brother of Dina Carbello (Lloyd), Michael O’Brien and Scott O’Brien. Beloved grandson of Leonarda “NaNa” Gioe and the late Calogero Gioe. Uncle of Joshua Joseph Dullary, Roman Alexander Appel and the late Alexandra Monet Short. Proud grandfather of Aubrie Amore Ring.
Carlo was a lifelong resident of St. Bernard Parish and enjoyed helping out at his family’s restaurant, Rocky & Carlo’s. He was a true outdoorsman who loved all animals. Carlo was an avid fisherman and hunter who was always ready for an adventure. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
