Sue was born on November 7, 1931, to the late Willie and Effie Lou Bracknell.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Olen Johnson; son, Ricky Johnson; and brothers, John Henry Bracknell and Danny Bracknell.
She is survived by her daughter, Daphne Johnson Darden (Alan); sister, Willie Lou McCray; brother, Larry Bracknell (Linda); grandchildren, Shane Darden(Julie), Corey Darden(Della), and Zacharie Johnson; great-grandchildren, Lawson Darden, Dayton Darden, Reagan Darden, Corie Darden, Isa Johnson, and Frances Johnson.
A visitation for Sue will be held Wednesday, September 6, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home, 805 Birmingham Rd, Centreville, Alabama 35042 followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM. Her final resting place will be at Little Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, Eoline, Alabama.
Serving as pallbearers are Shane Darden, Corey Darden, Allen Bracknell, Daryll Bracknell and Zacharie Johnson.
