Sandra Jean Deerman, age 56, of Brookwood, Al, passed away December 21, 2022. She has been retired for many years and devoted her free time to her husband of 33 years, Rocky Deerman, her children, grandchildren and her dog, Scarlett. She had a love of family game night, puzzles, crafting, reading Stephen King novels, traveling-which she made it to 27 states, concerts especially Garth Brooks and Reba McIntyre. She also had an unusual love for cutting grass because it was relaxing to her and a love for cooking.
She is survived by her husband Rocky Deerman, daughters, Ashley Clemons (Sam), Heather Deerman, Kesha Deerman, Crystal Ridlespurge; son Ricky Deerman (shannen); brothers, Bobby Hosmer, Jimmy Hosmer (Sherry); Grand Children, Jacob Deerman, Katelyn Evans, Brooklynn Deerman, Aubree Evans, Jordan Evans, Brianna Deerman, Jade Hallman, Keelee Blake, Kinzie Blake, Carmen Deerman, Levi Clemons, Braelyn Deerman, Bryson Deerman, Carson Deerman Addy Deerman, B.B. Shirley; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Sandy is proceeded in death by her parents, Robert and Dawna Hosmer; sister, Debbie Brown; son, Curtis Deerman; nephew, Wayne Terry; Uncle, Gary Black; brother, David Hosmer; and countless others that went before her.
A visitation for Sandy will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 5:30 PM to 7:30 PM at Rockco Funeral Home, 805 Birmingham Rd, Centreville, Alabama 35042. A celebration of life will occur Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home.
Sandra will be laid to rest in Johntown Cemetery, 5201 Vance Rd, West Blocton, Alabama 35184-3116.
