Myrtle Ruth Tinsley

Myrtle Ruth Tinsley, age 94, of Woodstock, Alabama passed away on Saturday, October 29, 2022. Myrtle enjoyed camping at Lake Tuscaloosa. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She loved her family and will be missed.

Myrtle was preceded in death by her mother, Kathleen Yeager Pounds; father, Chester Pounds; daughter, Barbara Marchant; and brother, Willie Pounds. She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Herchel Tinsley; children, Ellen Perry (Leonard) and Tommie McKinney (Harris); step-daughter, Cam Owen; grandchildren, Tracy Vining (Ross), Brandi Marchant, Jason Marchant (Jackie) and Misty Brooks (Junior); great-grandchildren, Robin Vining (April), Wesley Vining, Casey Stephens, Cheyenne Stephens, Emma Marchant, Walker Marchant, Annie Marchant, Wyatt Marchant, Kassidy Brooks and Brenden Brooks; great-great-grandchildren, Courtney Dockery, Somer Dockery and Payton Brasher; and sister-in-law, Jean Pounds.

A graveside service for Myrtle will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Mt Carmel Cemetery, Mt Carmel Rd, West Blocton, Alabama 35184.
