Mary F. Erwin

Mary F. Erwin, age 81, of West Blocton, Alabama passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2022. Mary was born August 19, 1941 Chelch William Hicks and Vesta Mary Ann English Hicks. Mary worked in the cafeteria at Matthews Elementary School in Tuscaloosa for over 20 years, and then part time at Northport Jr. High School. She was a member of Lowerytown Baptist Church. She spent her life dedicated to caring for her husband and two children.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Max Erwin; and her sister, Margaret Cook. She is survived by her daughter, Debra Ragland; son, Gary Erwin; and nephew, Merle "Rip" Cook, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at Lowerytown Baptist Church on Saturday, November 5, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Lowerytown Baptist Church in West Blocton, Alabama. Her final resting place will be at Hickory Hill Cemetery in West Blocton, Alabama.
