Luther Edward Jones Sr., age 94, of Centreville, Alabama passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022, at Bibb Medical Center. He is proceeded in death by his parents, George and Bertha Jones; brother, J.W. Jones; sister, Bessie Dee Williams; daughter-in-law, Patricia Jones; and grandson, Dusty Lee Cash. He is survived by his wife of 70 and half years, Doris F. Jones; sons, Luther Jones Jr., Danny Jones (Kay). and Brad Jones (Dawn); daughter, Patricia Wilcut (Perry); 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Francis Moses, Ruth Beck, Donnie Harper and Virgie Bennett.
Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27, 2022 from 11:30 AM - 12:30PM at Rockco Funeral Home-Chapel with the service starting at 12:30. Burial will be at the Alabama National Cemetery at 2 PM with Rev. Mark Lovett presiding.
