Mr. Carter, age 77, of Marion entered into rest at Vaughn Regional Medical Center. He is survived by his sons, William Carter, James Carter, Werdna Carter and David Carter; daughters, Rita Carter and Ann Carter; brothers, Duck Carter, Howard Carter, Link Carter, Ellis Carter, Marvin Carter and Lewis Carter; sister, Jan Carter; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and a host of nieces and hephews.
