Jackie Wayne Nichols born August 30, 1949 went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 10, 2020 at Grandview Medical Center, surrounded by his family. Jackie was preceded in death by his father, Avery Nichols Sr., and his mother, Bertha Ingram Nichols; Three brothers, Avery Jr., Claude and Bobby Nichols; Three sisters, Dorothy Mason, Madeline Nichols and Sally Shears. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Patsy Dockery Nichols; One daughter, Krystal Nichols Brown (Marlon) of Centreville, AL; One son, Bradley Wayne Nichols (Rachel) of Northport; Five grandsons, Cody Brown, Kyle Brown, Cade Brown, Lawson Nichols and Walker Nichols; One granddaughter, Ella Joy Nichols and two brothers, Gerald Nichols (Alice) of Centreville, AL and Fred K. Nichols (Elaine) of Marion AL.
Visitation will be held at Heiberger United Methodist Church on Tuesday January 14th from 1:00-2:00PM with the service to follow. Pastor Mike Lewis Will be officiating.
Serving as Pallbearers are Jackie's nephews Donald Nichols, Glen Nichols, Mike Nichols, Frankie Nichols, Dennis Nichols and great-nephew Kevin Nichols. Honorary pallbearers include many other family members and very special friends.
