Horace Hogue

He is preceded in death by his parents, James Hogue and Beulah Gay Hytch; children, Lovana Elliot (James Elliot) and Horace Dale Hogue.

He is survived by his wife, Hallie Hogue; children Diane Brown (Bill Brown), Ricky Hogue, and Bobby Hogue (Teresa Hogue); 11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

Horace was wonderful father, a loving husband, and loved spending time with his family. He loved all things outdoors especially hunting, fishing (especially noodle fishing), and camping. You could find him tending to his garden in his free time. He also spent many years building homes and even helped build the Family Life Center at Schultz Creek Baptist Church, where he was a member for over 30 years.

A private family visitation will be held from 10-11 am on Wednesday, November 20th, 2024 at Schultz Creek Baptist Church. A public visitation will be held from 11-12 pm with a service to follow at 12. Burial will be at the adjoining cemetery with brother Stan Huguley officiating.
