She was born on April 27, 1949 to the late Chester and LockyMae Garrett.
She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Murray Allen Nichols of Sprott, Al; two sons, Timothy Allan Nichols (Christi) and Marvis Ray Nichols; and one daughter, Sissy Nichols Harrison; five grandchildren, Dylan Garrett Nichols (Koli), Jacob Allan Nichols, Landon Keith Nichols, Payton Grace Harrison, and Bailey Jane Harrison; two great-grandchildren, Janie Irene Nichols and Ellye August Nichols; and sister, Janice Hampton (Lester).
She is preceded in death by her parents; and brothers, Roger Dale Garrett and James Si Garrett.
A visitation for Grace will be held Friday, January 26, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Heiberger Methodist Church, Highway 5, Marion, Alabama 36756 followed by a Celebration of Life at 1:00 PM. Burial will take place at Paynes Chapel Cemetery, Marion, Alabama 36756.
Pallbearers are Timothy Nichols, Marvis Nichols, Dylan Nichols, Jacob Nichols, Landon Nichols, and Chris Harrison.
