Frances Faye Hall, age 80, of Greenpond, Alabama passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024. Faye was a Momma to all and would feed and house anyone who needed it. She was a tremendous Southern cook and host, especially for Sister Get-togethers. She had a green thumb and a thrifty wallet. When she wasn't keeping a spotless home, she liked watching "Little House" and "The Waltons." She was always there to listen, providing an ear and a shoulder, and Nanny's help was invaluable. She will be terribly missed.
Faye was preceded in death her parents, Irene Green And G.W. Tillery; husband, Ricky Lawley; daughter-in-law, Kim Clayton; her siblings, George "Jinks" Tillery, Peggy Miller, and Sherry Terry; and brother-in-law, John Locke. She is survived by her children, Johnny Clayton, Pamela Dawson and Misty Hall; many loved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and step-children; and siblings, Janice Locke, Margaret Lucas (Greg), Annette Sims (Paul) and Scott Green (Becky).
A visitation for Frances will be held Thursday, March 14, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home, 805 Birmingham Rd, Centreville, Alabama 35042, followed by a funeral service at 1:00 PM. Pastor Ryan Lucas will officiate.
Frances will be laid to rest in Greenpond Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Eastern Valley Rd, Greenpond, Alabama 35184. Pallbearers are Brad Clayton, Gary Pierson, Shane Locke, Bubba Lawley, Christian West, and Kevin Gilbert. Honorary pallbearers are Roscoe Pierson and "Duck" Carter.
