Charles Thomas Montz

Charles Thomas Montz, age 87, passed away on July 6, 2017 at the VA Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL. He was born May 18, 1930 in Hale County, AL. He was the youngest child of T.D. and Altha Esma Bamberg Montz. He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 brothers and 4 sisters. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Odell Davis Montz; daughters, Donna M. Tubbs(Terry), Debbie M. Johnson(Johnny) and Kim M. Martin(Patrick); grandchildren, Michael Johnson(Savannah), Kayla Morlas(Micah), Jonathan Tubbs(Ashley), Bradley Carter, Alise Parker(Zack), J.T. Carter and Kaitlin Martin; great grandchildren, Logan Carter, Levi Johnson and Oliver Tubbs. He Loved to fish, garden and loved to watch Alabama Football and Softball. He served in the US Army. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the cemetery fund for Liberty Methodist @ 338 Dixon Lane Moundville, AL 35474 Pallbearers - Michael Johnson, Jonathan Tubbs, Bradley Carter, J.T. Carter, Zack Parker and Micah Morlas. A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff of the Valor Unit of the Tuscaloosa VA Medical Center.
