Charles Corbett Hughey

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Corbett and Navie Hughey; sister, Allieze Hughey Stone (Watson), and brother, William M Hughey (Addie Lee)

He is survived by and will be sadly missed by his wife, Angerine S Hughey; children, Kathy Smith (Rodney); grandchildren, Lyndsey Burns (Tyler) and Justin Smith (Raquel); great-grandchildren, Makynzie Smith, Alexander Burns, Elliott Burns, Samuel Burns, and Boone Grady Smith.

A Graveside service will be Saturday, September 23, 2023 at 11am at Mount Olive Baptist Church Cemetery in Sprott, Alabama. Brother Korey Kizziah will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Smith, Justin Smith, MIchael Stone, Steve Taylor, Wayne Vinson, Phillip Worrell and Jeremiah Moreland.

Honorary Pallbearers are Bibb Medical Center Emergency Room staff, UAB Neurosurgery staff, UAB Spain Rehab staff, and Mark Harrigan, MD and staff
