Charles “Chuck” Elam of Centreville entered into rest on July 31, 2015 at his residence. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Christine Elam of Centreville; two sons, Matthew Elam (Christine) of Alabaster; Jason Elam (Danielle) of Centreville; one daughter, Lorie Seales (Jason) of Clanton; three grandchildren, Amanda Wiginton; Danielle Seales; and David Seales; and two great-grandchildren, Madison Wiginton and Millie Wiginton. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Gladys Elam; and his daughter, Kelly Latham. Pallbearers are Rocky Heptinstall, Brandon Heptinstall, Brad Belcher, Thomas Wilson, Billy Johnson, and Larry Warren. Honorary Pallbearers are the Perry Mountain Motorcycle Club; Dr. William Owings; and Capstone Medical Staff. Service will be held on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Pineview Baptist Church with Rockco Funeral Home directing and Rev. Brian Consley officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery immediately following the service.
