Charlene Denise Short, age 52, of Woodstock, Alabama passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2022. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Ken Short; 2 sons, Kyle Short (Sy Shaver) and Kevin Short (Jacquelyn Short); 2 daughters, Brittany Buenrostro (Lizzie Buenrostro) and Alyssa Melton (Blake Thomas); grandchildren, Presley Short, Scarlett Melton, Hudxon Melton, and Oaklynn Thomas; parents, Dianne and Ricky Melton; grandmother, Edith Scales; sisters, Tracy Thompson, Kathy Clements, and Tonya Lee; and brother, Ricky Dale Melton.
Charlene will be missed by many and enjoyed fishing, reading, crocheting, and spending time with her family and grandchildren. Flowers will be accepted at Rockco Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, October 29th, 2022 from 5:00pm-8:00pm at Rockco Funeral Home Chapel.
