Carl Ray Chapman, age 64, of Arab, Alabama, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. Carl was born October 1, 1956. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudy Chapman and Billie Ruth Chapman; and one grandchild, Michael Thrift Jr. He is survived by his Daughters, Christina Thrift of Arab, AL, Lisa Reynolds of Locust Fork, AL, and Carrie Price of Locust Fork, AL; Brother, Michael Don Chapman of Boaz, AL; Sisters, Nancy Screws of Hayden, AL and Barbara Clark of Boaz, AL; Grandchildren, Johnny Sturgeon, Ashley Thrift, Cody Thrift, Austin Price, Haley Price, Avery Reynolds, Brittany Price, Kortney Price, Aivah Bradford, and Annleigh Bradford; Great Grandchildren, JR Sturgeon, Wyatt Ritch, Riley Sturgeon, Silas Sturgeon and Evelyn Sturgeon.
His funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 2pm at Rockco Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1pm-2pm. Rev. Kevin Foster will be officiating. Burial will follow at Tabernacle Cemetery in Lawley, Alabama.
