Betty J. Bright, age 89, of Centreville, Alabama passed away on Friday, January 19, 2024. Betty J. is preceded in death by husband, James "Jim" Bright; sons, Scottie Bright and Lacy Bright; and her parents, Lacy and Mattie Owens; sons-in-law, David Hoyt and Claude Hathcock. She is survived by her children, Brenda Wilson (Rick), Carol Hathcock, Jimmy Bright (Cindy), Mellisa Wilson (Hank), Janet Hoyt, Betty Wyers (Dwight), special daughters-in-law, Pam Bright and Carol Jo Bright; 22 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 7 great great grandchildren.
Betty's presence will be missed by all that loved and knew her.
Graveside services will be Monday, January 22, 2024 at 11:00 am at Little Hope Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery, with Shannen Allen and Stan Dawson presiding.
Pallbearers are Jason Bright, Cody Manderson, Cole Manderson, Chris Hathcock, Shane Whaley and Nathaniel Bright. Honorary pallbearers Dr Gary Howard and Staff, and Amedisys Hospice Care of West Alabama, and Amelia Putman.
