Ann Vincent Murphy, age 88, of Centreville, Alabama entered into rest on Thursday, December 3, 2020. Ann was born August 2, 1932 in Birmingham Jefferson County, AL. She is survived by her son, Mike Murphy of Centreville; a sister in law Barbara Vincent and a host of other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Dalton Murphy; her parents, O.L. and Rose Vincent; Gesna H. and Herman Young; sister, Sarah Stewart Vincent; brother, Cary L. Vincent. She is a member of Centreville Baptist Church and was employed by Bibb County Board of Education, Wilcox County Board of Education and S. E. Belcher.
A graveside service for Ann will be held Tuesday, December 8, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Alabama National Cemetery, Hwy 119, Montevallo, Alabama. Rev. Ken Fuller officiating with Rockco Funeral Home Centreville directing. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Hubbard, Mike Hubbard, Wayne Bush, Brad Murphy, Scott Vincent & Tom Murphy Honorary daughters: Mike's legal assistants through the years.
After the graveside, family will receiving of friends at 2:00 PM at Centreville Baptist Church, Court Square East, Centreville, Alabama in the Fellowship Hall.
