Zachery Alexander Fields, 23, of Tacoma, Washington passed away on Friday, Feb. 18, 2022 at home, with his mother, Brenda Carlberg. Zachery was born Jan. 7, 1999 at Group Health Hospital in Redmond, Washington.
Zachery was raised in Belfair, Washington and as a child, he was outgoing, action oriented and energized by many activities. Zachery played football and basketball, which he spent countless hours practicing, eventually joining Pee Wee Sports. He also enjoyed snowboarding, paintballing, skateboarding, dirt bike and BMX bike riding. Urgent Care knew him by first name, as he kept his mom on her toes. Zachery attended the young Christian Awana group, being with family and friends was one of the things he loved most. He was a video gamer, playing endless hours until the early hours of the morning. Jumping in the car, taking a road trip was on the list of things Zachery was passionate about. One of his favorite trips was to California and a cruise with his Papa and Nana.
Zachery's compassion for family and friends didn't stop there. His favorite pets, which included two cats, Rusty and Dunkin, and his dog, Yazzy, following him around the house everywhere he went. He had these pets most of his life.
He went to North Mason High School in Belfair, Washington. After high school, Zachery worked roofing and hanging gutters. He then went to work for Rhino Stages as a stagehand and afterwards a warehouse loader. In his spare time, he watching football and basketball, X-Games and UFC fighting.
Survivors include mother, Brenda (Russ) Carlberg; father, Mark (Trina) Fields; older brother, Jacob; and nephew, Caleb (Zachary's little man), who he had an amazing bond with; and grandparents, aunts and uncles, and cousins.
A Memorial Service will be held March 5, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Sticklin Funeral Chapel, 1437 S. Gold St., Centralia, WA 98531. For those who cannot attend, there will be a Facebook Memorial that will air LIVE on Sticklin Funeral Chapel's Facebook page.
