Melissa Kay Harris, also known as Twink, passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 59 in Chehalis, Washington. She was born November 23, 1964 in Eureka, California. Melissa will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
Melissa was a strong willed woman and always stood up for what she believed in. She was a loving and caring individual, always there to lend an ear or helping hand; it didn't matter if you were rich or poor, young or old. She was always there with advice and words of wisdom and would help anybody in need. If she knew you or you had the chance to meet her she left a lasting impression. Melissa's presence was a pillar of dignity and respect in the lives of those around her.
In her personal and family relationships, Melissa is survived by her children Creede, Jacob, Dillion, James, Richard, Preston, Khesler, Enember, and Colin. She is preceded in death by her parents Marvin Howard Jones and Donnia Sue Jones.
Melissa had a variety of hobbies that brought her joy. She enjoyed dancing, music, art, watching suspense and drama shows, cooking, and baking. These interests allowed her to express her creativity and find moments of relaxation and entertainment.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 19th at 11am at Sticklin Funeral Chapel, 1437 S. Gold St in Centralia. Sticklin Funeral Chapel is honored to assist with the arrangements for Melissa.
Melissa Kay Harris, or Twink, as she was affectionately known, will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her legacy of live,strength, and caring nature will forever be cherished by her loved ones. May she rest in peace.
