Kenneth D Burton Sr.

Our Beloved father, grandfather and friend passed away on January 16, 2014. He was born March 25, 1933 in Council Grove, Kansas and moved to Chehalis Washington when he was three years old. He joined the Air Force in 1952 after graduating from High School. While stationed at Donaldson Air Force base in Greenville, South Carolina, he met his future wife, Barbara. The couple married in 1956 and moved to Kent, Washington, where they raised their 5 children. In 1991, he retired after 35 years at The Boeing Company. Ken and Barbara moved back to his family homestead in Chehalis where they built their dream log home.

He is survived by his children: Deana (husband Mike), Debbie (husband Craig), Diana (husband Paul), Donna (husband Tom) and Ken Jr. (wife Paula). Also 6 grandchildren: Blake, Craig Jr., Carly, Nicole, Taylor and Lucas, and 2 step-grandchildren: Matt and Lisa, and his constant companion, Molly (dog).

Service is Saturday, January 25th at Sticklin Funeral Chapel at 11:00. Viewing will be held prior to the service from 9:00 – 11:00. There will be a reception at the funeral chapel after the service and the burial will follow the reception at Salkum Cemetery.
