James "Jim" Kenneth Minor Jim, age 84, passed away peacefully on July 13, 2015. Jim was born January 1, 1931 in Seattle, Washington to Gertrude and Emery. He lived most of his years in Tacoma, Roy, and Tenino, WA. He was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Kay, and son David. He is survived by children: Doug (Margaret), Rick (Carol), Sharron (Ron), Robin, Todd (Dawn), (Chris); grandchildren: Doug, Jennifer, Sarah, Michael, Ashley, Katie, Jessica, Karissa, and Elisabeth; great-grandchildren Breanna, Kaylie, Melanie, Monica, Miranda and Hayzel. James was a good father and an amazing grandfather. He was a hard worker; after his service in the Navy he spent many years as a Civil Engineer for the city of Tacoma and then McChord Air force Base. He dedicated his life to providing for his family. His laughter and jokes will be greatly missed. Services will be held on July 22, 2015 at 1:00pm at Sticklin Funeral Home Centralia, WA.
