Gerald Monroe Clubb Sr., a cherished husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on February 23, 2025, at the age of 81, in Rochester, Washington. Born on January 15, 1944, in San Diego, California, Jerry lived a life filled with love, laughter, and dedication to his family and community.
Jerry proudly served in the United States Navy from 1961 to 1965, a period that shaped his character and instilled in him values of honor and duty. After his military service, Jerry pursued a career in the welding supply industry, where he worked for various companies, earning the respect and admiration of his colleagues. Jerry and his first wife, Estella M. Helm, married in 1963 and had three children together. In 1969 Jerry married his loving wife Denise A. Dreier, and they had two daughters together.
Beyond his professional life, Jerry was known for his many interests and hobbies. He had a passion for woodworking and metal fabrication, creating beautiful pieces that showcased his creativity and craftsmanship. Fishing and camping trips with his family were among his favorite pastimes, providing cherished memories that will be held in the hearts of his loved ones forever. In addition to his family and craft, Jerry's kind-hearted nature was evident in the way he nurtured relationships, forming bonds that lasted a lifetime.
Jerry was the proud son of Gaither G. Clubb and Edith D. (Jacobson) Clubb, who preceded him in death. He was also predeceased by his brother, Gary Clubb, and his beloved granddaughter, Kaitlyn Smith. Jerry leaves behind a legacy of love and resilience, survived by his devoted wife, Denise A. Clubb, who stood by his side through thick and thin; daughters Debbie (Jon) Mazurek, Laverna A. (Curtis) Smith, Brigette (Scott) Leake, Amanda (Jay) Leavitt; son Gerald (Dana) Clubb; 13 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, 5 sister-in-laws, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Jerry's family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to the VA, Senior Helpers, Providence Hospice Care, and all the caring friends and family who provided support during his final days. Your compassion and kindness made an immeasurable difference.
