Gene Edwin Watson

Gene "Buzz" Edwin Watson, of Curtis, WA, was born to the late Floyd and Linda Watson (Oja) on August 25, 1942 in Ryderwood, WA. He departed this earthly life on August 1, 2024, at the age of 81.

Buzz attended school in Toledo, WA. Throughout his life he was a salesman, commercial fisherman, farmer, rancher and real estate extraordinaire. Buzz excelled at anything he put his mind to and was larger than life.

The greatest enjoyments of his life were spending time with his wife, family and friends, traveling, being in Florida and on the Farm. He also loved attending the Threshing Bee, local car shows and Hot August Nights.

Buzz will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his wife of 31 years, Angela; children Kimberly, Nanette (Bob), Greg and Virginia; grandchildren Justin, Christopher, Austin, Jordan, Cayleigh, Jacob, Carter, Orion, Grayson, Maxwell and Angela; great-grandchildren Adan, Christian and Micah.

Gene “Buzz” was predeceased by his parents, Floyd and Linda; brother Jerry, and son Scott.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 19th, 2024, at 2pm at Astoria Maritime Museum, Astoria, Oregon.
