Frank Anthony Bonagofski, age 71, of Centralia, Wash., passed away June 28, 2012 at Liberty Country Place. Frank was born on May 4, 1941 in Selfridge, ND to Anton and Katherine (Wuitschick) Bonagofski. He moved to Centralia when he was eight years old. Frank graduated from St. Mary’s School and attended Centralia High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam years 1963-1965. Frank met his wife Jeanette Heinen after returning from the service. They were married on Dec., 29, 1966 and had celebrated 45 years of marriage.
Frank worked for Moduline, building mobile homes and later also worked with companies providing mobile home repair and set-up.
Frank enjoyed playing the guitar and accordion. He enjoyed working on cars and spending time traveling and vacationing with his family. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
Frank will be missed by his family, his daughters, Michelle Bozeman of Chehalis, Wash., Lisa Richardson of Centralia, his sons, Michael (Jeanie) Bonagofski, and Randy (Heather) Bonagofski, all of Centralia, his nine grandchildren, six great- grandchildren, brothers, Don of Spanaway, Wash., James (Kathy) of Tacoma, Wash., Tom (Shawna) of Centralia, Bob of Centralia, Tony of Olympia, Ted (Theresa) of Redding, Calif., Tim of Chehalis, Daniel (Ulrike) of Vine Grove, KY, and George (Gail) Bonagofski of Chehalis, his sisters Lenora (Willy) Mosset of Selfridge, ND, Rosemary (John) Meuchel of Watford City, ND, Joan Metcalf of Mandan, ND, Della (Steve) Foster of Mesquite, Texas, Linda Jackson of Ashland, Neb., Diane Kinney of Estacada, Ore., and Anne (Bill) Hallett of Chehalis, Wash., and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
Visitation may be made between Noon and 7:00 p.m, Tues. July 10, 2012 at Sticklin Funeral Chapel, Centralia. The Rosary will be prayed beginning at 7:00 p.m. also at the Sticklin Chapel.
A Funeral Mass for Frank Bonagofski is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Centralia. A luncheon will follow the service in St. Mary’s Parish Hall. Interment will be at Mt. View Cemetery, Centralia.
