Ed loved surfing more than schooling and spent many days at the beach during his high school years. He loved cars with horsepower and spent over 30 years as a business owner and mechanic. He also spent over 10 years as a Federal Corrections Officer before retiring in 2014.
He was born in Tacoma, Washington and passed away at Providence Medical Center in Portland, Oregon.
He was preceded in death by his father. His mother passed the day after his death. Ed is survived by his wife Lena, AKA Patti, of Chehalis, Washington; his sister Deeann Forrester of Ventura, California; his daughters Roni Sue Fisher and Tisha Lee Fisher both of Ventura, California; his stepdaughter Kristen Rosalie McKee of Morton, Washington; his two granddaughters; two grandsons; and five great-grandsons with the sixth due in November.
His heart was pure gold and as big as he was. He never meet a stranger and never turned away any friend in need.
He will be missed by so many who loved him, but he will never be forgotten.
