Carol Lee Peters

Carol Lee Peters, age 72, of Onalaska, Washington passed away on Monday, Feb. 14, 2022. Carol was born on Feb. 12, 1950. She was born in Fort Dix, New Jersey, finally settling her family in California.

In 1982, she moved to Onalaska, Washington. Carol loved to paint, sculpt, create pottery and jewelry. Music was pure enjoyment to her ears. Carol loved animals, especially horses and cows. As an avid gardener, she and a member of the Lewis County Master Gardeners.

A good friend, Judy (Mary J. Bress) of 50 years, visited each week. Together, they enjoyed horseback riding. Carol achieved a Master's Degree in child Phycology and spent many years working with the state child protective services, until she retired.

She is preceded in death by her mother Else Smiley; and her father Joseph Lee Craft; as well as Brunhilde Allmonritter.

Carol is survived by her husband Clifton “Pete” Peters, of 26 years; and her step-daughter Judy Peter-Ano.
