Robert Lawrence Wolf

Robert Lawrence Wolf - Robert (Bob) Wolf died unexpectedly October 22, 2022 at Oschner Medical Center. He was born July 15, 1944 in Erie, PA, but grew up in Louisville, KY. Bob was an Eagle Scout and graduated Atherton HS. He graduated with a masters from University of Louisville in chemical engineering.

After graduation, he and his wife Charlotte moved to Baton Rouge where Bob worked for Exxon/Mobile for 32 years. There, he worked in several departments including the Refinery, Chemical Plant, and Intermediates Technology. Always the explorer and outdoorsman, he found himself traveling or at his beloved camp much of the time after retirement. He also spent a good amount of time spoiling his grandkids. Bob was predeceased by his mother, Dorothy (Wagner) Wolf, his father, Harry Lawrence Wolf, infant brother Harry L. Wolf, Jr., and son, David Lawrence Wolf. Surviving are his wife, Charlotte (Buser) Wolf; brother William Allan Wolf and wife Cindi of Louisville; son Joshua Lee Wolf and wife Donis of Central; daughters Laura Wolf of Memphis and Amy Wolf Huber and husband Kenny of Baton Rouge; grandchildren Brianna Kaye Huber, Marissa Marie Huber, Savannah Rose Huber, Rachelle Mouton Foster and husband Chris, Shane Keith Mouton and wife Kristen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Thursday, November 3 from 5:00-7:00 and Friday, November 4, 9:00-11:00 with a service of remembrance at 11:00, reception following. Services will be held at Central Funeral Home, 9995 Hooper Road. You are invited to share a special memory or story about Bob either during the service or afterwards. In lieu of flowers please feel free to make a donation to a charity of your choice.
