Larry "Zach" D Zachary

Larry David Zachary, age 75, entered into the presence of our Lord and Savior on Friday, March 1, 2024, and was healed of his earthly illnesses and struggles. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 55 years, Carolyn Dorrough Zachary, his daughter, Cindi Zachary, daughter Mindi Zachary Talley, son-in-law Jonathan Talley, grandsons Brandon Kidder and Jonah Talley and granddaughters Kaydee Kidder and Mia Talley. He is preceded in death by his parents, DeWitt Zachary Sr. and Grace Zachary, Brother DeWitt Zachary, Jr. and sister Aline Zachary Chapman.

He was a graduate of Glenn Oaks High School, an employee of Crawler Supply Co. Inc. for 35 years, an avid hunter and fisherman. He had a great love of music, spent years participating in rodeos and racing stock cars. His singing, laughing and joking spirit will be forever missed.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Chapel at Central Funeral Home, 9995 Hooper Rd, on March 7, 2024 for a visitation beginning at 10:00AM until a funeral service beginning at 12:00PM a burial is to immediately follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers and honorary pallbearers will be Brandon Kidder, Jonah Talley, Ricky Rarick, Zach Rarick, Ronnie Rarick, Mike Rarick, Del Chapman, Darren Zachary, Devin Zachary and Shane Smith.

His family would like to extend special thanks to the intensive care unit of the Baton Rouge General Hospital.
