Kiersten Raelyn Zylks

Kiersten Raelyn Zylks, age 18, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana passed away on Monday, October 3, 2022. Kiersten was born March 22, 2004. She attended Central High School and was known for her caring heart. Kiersten was a light and joy to her family and will be remembered as someone who was protective,loyal, and funny. She had a smile that was contagious and could light up the room. She was loving known as "sissy" and "Ear". Kiersten will be loved and missed by everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her parents, Jessica Bates (Brian) and Chad Zylks (Sayward); sisters, Rylee, Hayden Zylks; brother, Cayde Zylks; grandparents, Kathleen Bates, Paula Wheat, and Cliffie and Doris Zylks; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Kiersten is preceded in death by her grandfathers, James Bates and Cliff Wheat; great-grandparents, Jesse and Edie Kerry, Vernon and Doris Venable, and Huey Zylks.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, October 11, 2022 from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm with the service beginning at 6:00 pm all at Central Funeral Home, Hooper Rd.
